You could do that with Dyn's Standard DNS service and your own domain.

TypePad provide instructions for using your own domain. The summary is:

  1. Create your CNAME (alias) in your Standard DNS domain (eg blog.example.com) with the value of example.typepad.com (replacing the first example.com with your real domain and the second example with your TypePad domain)
  2. Add the domain mapping at TypePad in your TypePad account
  3. Activate it in your TypePad account
