I'm new to VMs and I'm messing around with getting mountain lion on my VM. I got up to 10.7.3 Lion on the VM. I then upgraded the software to Mountain Lion through the app store. Upon the software automatic restart now get a "Triple Fault" in the logs.

A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state. etc...

I'm now stuck in a loop with this message after restarting the VM or shutting down. Any suggestions to get past this?

Remember, Apple is thoroughly against their OSes being run in VMs (except Server edition), and they may have added code to make Mountain Lion to crash with a triple fault in a VM. – Linuxios Aug 20 '12 at 0:03
