I am using an Android device that runs Android 4.0.4 but without any touch screen (display on a normal TV). So I connect a wireless PC keyboard with touchpad to control the Android system. I could basically use this Android device.

However, when I come to the Android default browser, I could, for example, scroll down by pressing "space" in keyboard, but I could not zoom in a webpage using keyboard shortcut key. I know that "MENU + i" key could zoom in a page, but it seems that a normal PC keyboard does not have a "MENU" key. In addition, the touchpad seems does not support multi-touch for me to zoom using touch gesture.

The Android device's setting has disabled the software "zoom button" in the default browser. So I find no way to zoom webpages in such situation.

Is there any way that I could zoom webpages using the PC keyboard with touchpad ? Or could I enable the software "zoom button"?

Have you tried Ctrl + +? – Randolph West Aug 23 '12 at 3:51
@Randolph "ctrl" + "+" not work. The browser is not "firefox". – user1129812 Aug 23 '12 at 4:30
It was simply a suggestion, as you requested. I didn't say it would work, and for the record, that shortcut works in almost every modern browser on a computer. – Randolph West Aug 23 '12 at 4:35

I assume you have some mouse functionality there. Double clicking on the content with your left or right mouse button will make it zoom in, repeating the process will make it zoom back out. Thankfully, you can control the amount of zoom in the browser settings.
