I have a simple VPN setup at home that is running off a Windows 7 machine. I used the tutorial here, which lets me connect to my home network. I've confirmed this works correctly since I'm able to log in to my home router at 192.168.0.1.

However, I'm unable to access the smb share that's on the network. When I'm home I can ping 192.168.0.101 as well as access smb://192.168.0.101/Shared/, however when I'm remote and I connect to this VPN, I can't ping that address or access that share.

What do I need to do?

Edit - Some additional information, after more testing...

It appears I can ping other machines, I just can't ping the machine hosting the vpn connection which is 192.168.0.101. Since it is the host, does it show up as a different ip address to connected machines?
