I'm making a newsletter with lots of headlines that are GIFs. (I know this isn't ideal, BTW.) My current (and time-consuming) workflow is to type the text in Photoshop, crop the document to fit the text, then export a GIF. I know Fireworks might be good for this type of project, but I can't figure out how to make the document scale to the size of the text. Any suggestions?

What tool are you using to build the newsletter? Microsoft Word, for example, supports WordArt. Primitive in appearance, but might do the trick faster. – dangowans Aug 30 '12 at 17:47
