Is there any another way to display hidden files of current directory without the use of "ls -a" command ?

Not in command line. If you're talking about how to do it in your window manager, it depends on the one you use. –  m4573r Sep 4 '12 at 11:55

You can use

$la

This command worked same as ls -a

Try this, it might work:

tree -a.

Also, you can always add alias:-)
