Here's the situation - I am developing a web app using XAMPP portable (Windows) on my hard disk. My only laptop is a Mac which only have Mac OSX 10.8
How do I setup my Mac XAMPP such that it can use the htdocs and mysql info on my portable hard disk without copying files back and fro from the hard disk to the mac?
(I'm thinking of symbolic links but as I am near to OSX 10, I'm not sure if I am on the right track)
