Google Reader rename folders and tags

Question

I use Google Reader to read my RSS feeds and I've created a couple of folders to group certain feeds. However, I made a typo when I created one of the folder names. The problem is that I can't seem to be able to rename my folder name, I can delete it but will that also delete my subscribed feeds?

How do I rename a folder or tag in Google Reader?

In Google Reader's settings:

• Click on the 'Subscriptions' tab
• Type the folder name you want to modify in the text box on the right
• A list with all the feeds saved in that folder will be shown. Click on "Select all" at the top of the list, and create a new folder with the new name on any of the feeds by clicking on "Change folders" and selecting "New folder"
• Go to the "More actions" menu and select the folder you just created under "Add tag". The tag you specified will be applied to all selected feeds
• Now select the old folder name under "Remove tag" and all the selected feeds will be saved under the new name
• Go to the "Tags" tab and delete the old folder

basically it shows how to export feeds from an old folder to a new one, that way changing its name :)
