I have installed vmware v8.01 on my windows7 64bit and I want to install OS X Lion on it. I followed this : Virtualize OS X Lion on Windows

This tutorial worked on my laptop and now I have OS X Lion on it.

I am trying to install it on another system, but I got this error when I power on the virtual machine:

VMware Workstation unrecoverable error: (vmx)

Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) has occurred.

A log file is available in "D:\Mac\Mac OS X Lion VMware Files\Mac OS X Lion\vmware.log". A core file is available in "D:\Mac\Mac OS X Lion VMware Files\Mac OS X Lion\vmware-vmx-3912.dmp". You can request support and include the contents of the log file and the core file.

To collect data to submit to VMware support, choose "Collect Support Data" from the Help menu.

You can also run the "vm-support" script in the Workstation folder directly.

We will respond on the basis of your support entitlement.

Can you help me ?

I have this same problem on my desktop which use to run vmware 7 just fine.but with gnawed 8 I get this error if I try starting any vm at all if its windows XP or Linux our Mac osx. The gnawed will work temporarily when the computer has just booted up but after a few minutes I will just get that same error. I would go back to vmware 7 but im afros I will get what I got last time trying to uninstall vmware 7. It wouldn't install and I was stuck with a broken vm ware 7 no matter what I tried to rid of its remains with reg it wouldn't go so I was unable to install vmw 8 our reinstall vmw 7. At the end I frustrated windows 7 to fix this but now I can't boot any .
