When comparing SparkleShare and ownCloud, what are the pros and cons between them?

Self-hosting a sync service like Dropbox has a great appeal - especially within a corporate setting.

What is the best way to compare these two?

Specifically, from a enterprise viewpoint, needing to share project folders between team members and between teams (perhaps even with customers), what would provide the better solution?

I see a pair of vtc for "not contructive". What would make this "not constructive"? –  warren Sep 20 '12 at 18:15

You should maybe define objective criteria to compare these apps/solutions… but what exactly you want is hard to guess. All you want to know right now can be found out by a simple feature comparison. Both solutions are free – have you tried either of them and checked if they suit your needs? If so, where did they fail? –  slhck Sep 20 '12 at 19:06

There's not much I can do. It's still a little vague regarding what a "better solution" would provide. You could post a reopen request on Meta Super User to get additional info on how to improve the question, but I don't think there's much value in feature comparison altogether. –  slhck Sep 20 '12 at 20:28
