The company I'm working for uses PDF Creator Plus 5.0 to create multipage PDFs. However, the program is pretty terrible. It frequently runs out of memory (I'm not totally sure what it even means by that. I'm assuming it stores the files to RAM until it creates the file?), freezes often, and runs incredibly slow. I feel like there has to be a better solution. I've downloaded PDFCreator (which I'm assuming is a different program all together) and it seems to be a better solution. I've read some of the other questions on this site but they didn't necessarily answer my question. I guess what my real question is, is there any advantage to PDF Creator Plus 5.0? Is there any reason I shouldn't bring up using a different program to my superiors?

Welcome to Super User, Devin! I'm afraid that due to the subjectivity, software recommendations generally aren't allowed (see the FAQ). You should try editing your question to describe your specific problem (i.e., "How can I convert a Word document into a PDF?" or "How can I convert an HTML document into a PDF?" or "How can I merge multiple PDFs into a single PDF?"). This will get you a wider range of answers, possibly some you weren't thinking of, and make your question more applicable to others in your situation. –  Darth Android Sep 28 '12 at 16:41
Questions asking for product recommendations are off topic on Super User. "Is there any reason I shouldn't bring up using a different program to my superiors" also cannot really be answered by any of us. Consider following @DarthAndroid's suggestions, and reading this meta topic. FWIW, it might be a good idea to just ask for help in resolving the issues you have. –  Daniel Beck Sep 28 '12 at 17:05
