How do I resolve the error message “Disk Defragmenter has deteced that CHkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (C:) Please run Chkdsk /f.”?

Question

I have put the chkdsk /f on command prompt and have specified that I want it to run on this volume but even after restarting my computer it gives me the same error message.

Also, I have said No to the volume and still the same message.
