My laptop is connected to my school WiFi but somehow my Android phone cannot access the WiFi (My phone can connect to WiFi in other places, so I guess it must have something to do the setting)
So, I would like to share wireless internet connection on my laptop to my Android phone over WiFi too. I tried Connectify but apparently, it is not compatible with either my laptop (Lenovo Idea Pad Y450 20020) or my Android phone.
My alternative would be to use a wireless router to do it. I found one online which seems to be doing the exact thing I want: ASUS 802.11b/g/n Portable Wireless Router (WL-330N) But I am not sure whether it does. What specs should I be looking at when buying a router so that I can make sure it does precisely what I want as described above?
