Yesterday i flashed my bios to the latest version. Upon succesfully flashing the bios, the system restarted.
But I didn't get a POST beep, also, I have no screen. It's black and the LED of my monitor just flashes.
I have tried to reset the CMOS with the CLR jumper. But that didn't work either. Got 4 ram kits installed, tried using 1 kit, but still no beep or display.
I went from 1203 to 1402, I skipped the 1301 version of the bios.
The reason why I flashed the bios, was because the system didn't wanna boot up. The POST display just kept flashing 'CPU INIT'.
Some blogs on the net were telling how to fix this problem with the striker board.
Could anyone tell me what I can try? Or is my mainboard dead?
[EDIT] Some extra info, the video card I have is an Asus 9800 GTX+ Dark Knight.
