Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

A friend approached me saying he found a whole host of spam domains registered to his office (as in, if you whois the domain the registrant and administrative contact are functional people from his address).

What are his options to stop this from being the case, if any?

I'm sorry, but since we're not really talking about computer software or hardware here, this is off topic. But why not contact the domain registrar and tell them what's the issue? – slhck Oct 6 '12 at 18:33
Fair point, I was thinking that superuser was for "general" issues, but you're totally right, my bad (I actually wrote this for somewhere else and the moved it here...) – Alex Oct 6 '12 at 18:41
as he is the contact for the domain, I would contact the registrar, and ask for those domains to be suspended/terminated – Sean Cheshire Jan 23 at 21:17
