When my Windows 7 Starter netbook boots up and after everything is loaded, it takes about 5 minutes before the network icon near the clock becomes functional. When there’s an available Wi-Fi signal – which automatically connects to my netbook as preconfigured – after the boot, my netbook seamlessly connects to it even if the network icon cannot be clicked or accessed; the icon is shown to be loading for about five minutes.
During this time, when I go to Network and Sharing Center, it takes the same time to load. So even while the icon and the Center cannot be accessed, I can surf the Internet. When my netbook was still new, it didn’t have this issue. How do I fix this?
