I'm writing a graphic viewer to find all the graphic images on the server so it can made available to a program for display.

I need a find command to have it list all the graphic files, but not include files which start with ._. Can this be done with find?

Also, is there a way to return find output in XML format? Thanks!

Can you post your actual find command? – slackmart Oct 9 '12 at 13:03
