I have an Apache James Server on localhost. I know to configure its smtp, pop3 and imap ports. I set them to 1025,1110, 1043 for now debugging. I have a user user2

I can send mail through

telnet localhost 1025

ehlo localhost

mail from:<user2@localhost>

rcpt to:<user2@localhost>

and i can see the mail through pop3, imap.

But i can not configure thunderbird.

So far i tried

While trying to send mail from user2@localhost to user2@localhost

Sending of message failed.
An error occurred sending mail: SMTP server smtp.localhost is unknown. The server may be incorrectly configured. Please verify that your SMTP server settings are correct and try again.
