Now, i read about this a lot on the internet, but i'm here hoping to get some personal experiences/opinions. At work, i made the mistake to buy a pogoplug, hoping to backup all the data at home. That thing never worked for me, and gave me nothing but problems.

What i'm trying to do: I have two extra older computers at work, i was hoping to create a server in which i could backup all the data from the computers at work and also access and auto-backup that data to my computer at home.

Is that possible (auto backup from server)? Even if not, whats the best approach? What softwares should i use? Is it safe?

I'm asking about personal experiences, not articles on the internet please.

Thanks for the help everybody!

Cheers!
