Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I maintain a non-profit site, which has a section for podcasts. Several years ago I submitted a podcast link to iTunes for approval. It was approved and the link worked fine. Click on the link, the iTunes on the computer opened and the user was subscribed and could download episodes. But recently this doesn't work, and users get an error message: "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."

I have even rebuilt almost the entire .xml file, which can be viewed here, using the "view source" in your browser: Podcasts

The alternative of pasting the URL into "Advanced/Subcribe to podcast" in iTunes, works, but I want the user to be able to subscribe direct.

One other item, the artwork doesn't show.

You may need to resubmit things to iTunes. It sounds like the problem is not on your end, but in the Store data.
