Task Manager in Windows 8 has got a new tab called 'Startup'. As I understand, this allows me to control my startup programs. However, the meaning of the column 'Startup impact' is unclear to me:
What does this column mean?
This is a special measurement based on an application's CPU and disk usage during startup. It helps the user to determine what app slows down the startup process and to decide what to disable.
