Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have 2 computers that use Windows vista, on both of them users like to use the Windows snipping tool. If you want to write something on top of the capture image, you write with a blue pen.

On my own computer, when I pick the crossing-out marker, its yellow and thick, on these 2 computers with a problem the coloring remains blue. What's even more odd is when they pick the 'eraser' it just keeps marking blue.

Its like even though they select other functions than Pen, and the other options are marked. it still stays on Pen. I tried googling this issue but didn't find anyone who had the same problem.
