I installed a Windows 8 machine - and VS2012. After that I had a tool Icon on the start Screen which launched an application that showed me the touches recognized on my PC. Unfortunaltey I remove that Launch Icon from the start Screen and can no longer find it. Has anyone an idea what it was and how to find it again?

are you talking about simulator ? –  Antonio Bakula Nov 12 '12 at 10:08
I guess not - it opened a small window with black Background where I could see my fingers (the taps / traces) when I touch the touchpad (Screen). –  ManniAT Nov 12 '12 at 13:19
hm, don't know about such tool, but in Simulator you can test touch pretty good –  Antonio Bakula Nov 12 '12 at 13:35
