I am trying to set up a PCMCIA parallel card to work with this software, however, I believe the software only works if the i/o is set to 378h (tested on a computer with a parallel port). I tried messing with the driver's inf file but to no avail. If someone could tell me if these are the right settings or a program that can remap the i/o range that would be great.

The drivers can install if I don't edit anything.

If I set the override to the PORTS.inf to i/o range 378-37F it brings up code 12, saying not enough resources. However, I cannot find any device that is using this range. Not sure how to proceed from this point, definitely not familiar enough with drivers.

[LptPort.NT.LogConfigOverride]
LogConfig = Override0

[Override0]
IOConfig = 378-37f(3ff::)

I know it's a bit late of a comment, but: have you tried disabling the LPT in the BIOS? The D620 has LPT port on the dock, so the device might have to be disabled in order to be able to remap it to the proper range... – ppeterka Apr 10 at 20:39
