I have several disk partitions, i made then each 250gb. I used robocopy to copy one partition to another I got an error the destination disk is out of space. wtf they are the same size.
I right clicked my Q partition and I see 250gb, thats correct. My destination is 250gb. I jammed all my files into a folder called a so i dont have to worry about recylebin being copied by robocopy (i ran robocopy with admin permissions). So i right clicked and i see my a folder has more data then my partition can hold.
My first thought is compression weirdness. My destination is also NTFS so i'm not sure why it wouldnt have the same files compressed. I can't tell which files are compressed. Whats going on here? Is my source corrupted? If not how do i copy it to my other partition?
Note: the source doesn't appear to be compressed and no files in any folder is has blue filenames (which means its compressed by the disk/os/ntfs). So i'm not sure how its doing this
