Using a Quatro 4000 with a DP to DVI converter cable (DVI only monitor), the monitor is not detecting a signal. It works fine if I only use the DVI to DVI, but I want to connect a second monitor using the HDMI ports.

Any thoughts? I've tried the latest Nvidia drivers to no avail.

Hi Glen, welcome to SU. :) Can you clarify a little? It seems you're trying to use a DP (DisplayPort) to DVI adapter with the HDMI port on the card? Exactly which Quatro 4000 make and model is it? Did the adapter come with it? – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 Nov 20 '12 at 23:36
Thanks! The adapter was purchased separately to the card. Its a 2GB 256bit card. Also - yes I'm trying to use the HDMI port to a DVI port on the monitor using the adaptor. – Glenn Nov 21 '12 at 0:05
