Inkscape seems to be a great open source software to draw and create vector graphics.

Now, I would like to learn more how to use it and I would like to ask you to list here good tutorials and articles that helped you in learning Inkscape.

It would be very nice if you put all those into Markdown syntax so that we don't have to sift through those URLs. To do so, just highlight the text you want to be the link, (Niko Kiirala on Filters: Tutorial One - Blend) and press the little globe and arrow icon. Inkscape includes tutorials in the form of SVG images under Help > Tutorials.

I think these are a great starting point, they can also be found at inkscape.org.

I've pre-ordered a copy of Dmitry Kirsanov's The Book of Inkscape, being published at the end of July 2009. Dmitry is a graphic designer, an Inkscape developer and has written helpfule tutorials for several computer magazines.
