How exactly does Google Chrome discover plugins? In chrome://plugins/ listed not only Mozilla plugins directory but also some other funny plugin directories like this one "C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Player\npDivxPlayerPlugin.dll". Where does chrome save information about such a strange locations? I cant find it in registry or in profile folder.

How can I ban all this strange plugins? How can I tell Chrome not to disable this plugin but to completely ban all directories instead of default one "Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\" or "Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\"?
