I'm looking for some sort of web based app to share books/dvds/games/etc among a group of friends.
Ideally we'd each have our own login and "inventory" with the ability to request stuff from other people's inventory, see who has borrowed what, and so on.
I'd like to be able to host it myself and the ability to customize it (either via source or not) would also be a plus.
Any suggestions?
Update: I'm not looking to share digital versions of items. I'm looking for some sort of catalog/inventory program that I can put in 'I have 2 hammers' and then mark that I lent one of them to "Joe".
