I have recently begun having issues with playing flash videos. I do not seem to have any PC problems otherwise, but this week whenever I play YouTube videos or any other flash/video media, my computer freezes dead cold. By that I mean, mouse is frozen solid, keyboard inoperable, etc... It happens quite randomly though, sometimes I watch 2-3 videos fine, sometimes it happens on the first one. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, running on a Dell Studio 15 notebook with a Core 2 Due 2.0GHz CPU, 4GB of memory, and an ATI 3xxx series graphics card.

What browser? What operating system? What flash videos/sites? What about local flash videos or other video formats? Do 3D games work fine? We need more information –  Canadian Luke Nov 30 '12 at 18:32
Any browser, Win7 Home Premium, all flash videos/sites it appears have this problem. Haven't tried local flash videos. I play Starcraft for hours without a problem. –  RealityDysfunction Nov 30 '12 at 19:14

Not a guaranteed solution but try to disable Flash hardware acceleration. It helped me in the past in a somewhat similar problem. If you recently updated your video driver you can try to rollback to an earlier version.
