Is it possible to sync my RSS feeds in Thunderbird with Google Reader?

If not, is there an email client that can?

Here's a slightly-hack approach - basically you set Google Reader as your homepage in Thunderbird & browse/read feeds from there.

just export your RSS Subscription as opml file and import then in google reader.

First, give eventually a reference to what you describe. Second, he wants Google Reader, not an addon for Firefox, if I understand what you propose. – Gnoupi Nov 18 '09 at 17:44

You may be able to accomplish it with plugins/hacks as described by others, but I can say definitively that the FeedDemon/NetNewsWire feed reader desktop apps sync with Google Reader perfectly.

That may or may not be helpful to you, but I know I prefer having a desktop app than reading feeds online all the time.
