Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have installed weblogic '10.3.4.0' and have created a user in the default security realm myrealm. The authenticator is DefaultAuthenticator. Now, I have to authenticate the user through a stand alone java application. But the application is responding with LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials:

Properties l_props = new Properties();
LdapContext l_ctx = null;
l_props.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory");
l_props.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "ldap://localhost:7001");
l_props.put(Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION, "simple");
l_props.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "cn=username");
l_props.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "password");
l_ctx = new InitialLdapContext(l_props, null);

I have cleaned up your question a bit; feel free to roll back if you don't like it. I would recommend asking an actual question though, indicating what you are looking to do –  Canadian Luke Dec 4 '12 at 23:34

Try using something like this LDAP Browser to connect with same credentials. ldaptool.sourceforge.net –  week Dec 4 '12 at 23:51
