With the introduction of the Charms Bar in Windows 8, do applications such as Rocket Dock and StarDock's Object Dock still provide additional functionality & features, that are separate to those offered by the new Charms Bar, or indeed to be used in collaboration with it?

Has the Charms Bar effectively made them redundant and they have no "real" place in Windows 8, like they did in Windows 7 ?
