In principle, the Personal Area Networking (PAN) Bluetooth profile allows this. PAN basically gives you a LAN over Bluetooth, so software on your PC and on your phone can talk to each other as if they were on a LAN.

However, to actually use your PC's net connection on the phone, your phone (or more precisely, the apps on your phone that you want to provide with net access) must support using the PAN instead of directly connecting to the internet via GPRS/UMTS/WiFi etc.. Whether this is possible depends on the software you want to use on the phone, so I suppose it will be phone-specific.

Also, your PC will have to function as a router between its net connection and its PAN connection. Again, most PCs can do this (usually called "connection sharing"), but configuration will depend on your PC's OS.

In short, it's theoretically possible, but might be quite difficult to set up depending on the software involved. I don't know of any short way of accomplishing this.

Your phone would have to be capable of connecting to the PC via some sort of network, whether WiFi or Bluetooth or something else. However, most simple consumer phones do not have this capability built in. So, you would not be able to do it unless you were happy to hack your phone.

Hack a non-Wi-Fi phone to enable Wi-Fi? Not possible... – Jay_Booney Feb 16 '11 at 18:44
Curious, why would it not be possible? Difficult maybe, not impossible. – sybreon Feb 22 '11 at 12:27

I recently did this on Windows XP. I started with Set up a wireless network without a router and then moved to Internet Connection Sharing overview.

The quick summary is to go to the advanced properties of your wired connection and check Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection. Then, create an ad hoc network on your wireless connection. Lastly, configure your wifi device with the same settings (SSID, WEP password) and it should work.

Based on the specs listed, it doesn't look like that phone does WiFi.... – Michael Todd Nov 7 '09 at 4:47
Yep, what Michael Todd said. Your phone has to be Wi-Fi capable to be able to receive an internet signal from your PC. It seems as though your phone does not support Wi_Fi connectivity and can only connect to the internet with the use of good old GPRS – Jay_Booney Feb 16 '11 at 18:43

That's just a generic link to bluetooth information, not very helpful. – sleske Oct 14 '09 at 10:08
