I installed Windows on a computer and I rebooted it to see if it works properly. When it started booting it got stuck on this screen

I tried booting from the Windows CD again and I get stuck on this screen:

with no GUI to work with. I tried doodling in the BIOS but nothing helped, and I really don't know how to end that loop.

This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

You rebooted after the installation was over, or was this one of the reboots done by Setup itself? In any case, what happens if you remove the CD from the drive? – Karan Dec 25 '12 at 20:21
Since you installed Windows, you need to boot from the hard drive, not the CD. – David Schwartz Dec 25 '12 at 20:32
I done it after the installation and yes i tried booting from the hard drive it freezes like on the first picture, only it does not show Boot from cd Stops at Verifying DMI pool data – Lazar Jevremov Dec 25 '12 at 20:41
Troubleshoot. I've no idea if it's your hard drive your dvd your dvd drive, or the cable or the interface it plugs into on the motherboard, or worse, a mixture. – barlop Dec 25 '12 at 23:01
