I have a problem with Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro 13 (2010). I recently upgraded from the factory HDD (160 GB) to a SSD (240GB). The Bootcamp partition was booting Windows 7 correctly, even from Parallels Virtual Machine. Before I switched the disks I copied offline the content of the HDD into the SDD using the "dd". After installing the SSD, OSX was booting without problems. To take advantage of the extra space on the newly installed SDD, - I removed the Bootcamp Partition with the Bootcamp Assistant - Extended the Macbook partition to the full size of the disk - Recreated the Bootcamp partition with some extra space. Then again using the "dd" command, I copied offline ONLY the Bootcamp Partition fro the old HDD to the new SDD. But when I try to boot it, a black screen appears, and it hangs there.

Do you have any suggestions because I am stuck with this problem. I also tried to do run a "Recover Sytem startup" from windows install DVD but DIDN't work. I tried using GPARTED (from Ubuntu Live CD) and moving the partition instead of recreating it but it didn't work neither.

Can anyone help me with the issue, or at least explain why this happened?

Thanks
