I have a problem on a system with Linux Mint Debian Edition. It was freshly installed a few days ago an "Peppermint" was chosen as theme for MATE. Today I updated the system and the theme isn't available anymore.

So far I found out that the theme is part of the package mint-artwork-gnome which isn't available anymore. I've tried to download the .deb manually from here but dpkg won't install it since it installs files that were already installed by another package.

Does anyone know what happened to the Peppermint theme in the Debian edition and how to get it back?

Found a workaround for now. Just used an archive manager to extract the theme and it's depended themes to /usr/share/themes/. I'm still interested in a "clean" solution. – André Dec 28 '12 at 18:57
