I'm trying to copy text from my Windows Vista PC and paste it to my Mac running OS X 10.6 over a VNC connection. I have both TightVNC and UltraVNC viewers. Both exhibit the same problem: as soon as I copy on the PC side (either using the keyboard shortcut, or by selecting Copy from the Edit menu) my VNC connection instantly hangs, which is immediately obvious because the seconds on the clock on the remote desktop stop incrementing and I can no longer type anything.
This is more annoying because I don't even have to be trying to copy something to paste to the remote screen. Even if I set up an external copy/paste path (e.g. via an external web site), I still have to restart the connection every time.
