Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I moved from the US to Europe, and I'd like to tunnel some traffic back "home". I have the following to work with:

  • An non-sudo account on a Linux box in the United States
  • A Windows laptop
  • Various game consoles (PS3, 360, Wii U, etc) that as far as I can tell have limited support for proxy settings

Right now, I regularly watch US-only streaming media by creating an SSH tunnel using PuTTY on Windows. I'd like to be able to tunnel the game console networks through the US endpoint. I can wire the consoles through the laptop, but I'm not sure how to direct all traffic through the tunnel.

I think I'm asking a similar question to this one except that I don't currently have access to a local Linux system. I might technically be able to wrangle an OSX device, if that's necessary, but I'd prefer to avoid it.
