I am using SyncToy 2.1 to backup files on my Win7 SP1 PC's desktop folder to a shared folder on the network.

Adding or replacing files is no problem when it almost always breaks with an error when deleting files on the network.

Exception during run: The FileSyncProvider received an unexpected error while writing a change. Deleting file abc.exe

I don't think there is an access problem because everything runs fine if I exclude deletes manually from batch.

Any idea why this might be happening? Where should I look further to assess the situation?
