Thank you for your offline support. Just now I have installed vi editor from your offline support. Now it is working fine.

Also please do let me know where we could I get the Vi editor tutorial for cygwin vi.

The vi you have in cygwin is probably vim. Try typing :help tutor for an interactive tutorial.

Or if you like video tutorials, try these.
