Is there any possibility to repair the b-tree header of an HFS+ file system?

My hard drive died. I was at least able to create an image to an external drive. During checking out this image the Disk Utility tool says:

  • Invalid file amount
  • Invalid node size of B-tree header

Disk Warrior was able to recover some of the data. Unfortunately, not the real crucial ones. I have a back-up but this is 2 months old and during the last 2 months a lot has changed. And yes, I deserve the blame for not backing it up more regularly.

Update: the hard drive has been checked by an professional . It seems to be fine. WHich makes this question even more interesting - can I recover the file structure? 1000 thanks in advance for any advise and helping hands/heads. – ARI Jan 11 at 18:19
