I was plugging my flash drive in a friend's computer. At the time I was opening a directory within my flash drive, checking some files inside the directory. When I opened the files, it says that windows unable to read the file, so I safely removed my flash drive and plugged it in for the second time.
I opened the same directory again and all the contents inside it turned into this:
It's not the only directory affected; several other directories are also affected. Some other directories are not though. When I tried to open one of the directory shown in the picture above, it said the directory "is not accessible."
The directories which are affected also became impossibly huge when I check the properties. It says it has around 200~500 GB size when my flash drive actually only has 3 GB space.
I tried running
chkdsk /r I:, then it says "Unrecoverable error in folder \darikompu".
What is happening with my flash drive? Is it corrupted? If it is, is it possible to recover the files?
Note: I tried opening the flash drive with different computer and the same still happen.
