To prevent BlueStacks from autostart you need to remove the uHD-Agent from the Login Items list:

System Preferences -> Users & Groups -> Login Items

Click on the row uHD-Agent (not the checkbox) and then click the remove (-) button under list.

No, it's not listed in Login Items. –  ohho Jan 19 '13 at 9:49

Go to START > Accessories > Command Prompt and when the command prompt appears, type in msconfig. It will open a new box called System configuration, click the Startup tab, search for Bluestacks, untick it and click OK

I rather doubt OS X has start, accessories, command prompt, msconfig.... –  Journeyman Geek Nov 13 '13 at 10:29
True this wasn't in the original question, but I had this same problem on my PC and googled into this question. This answer helped me. –  Tom Sep 17 '14 at 0:49
