I have an Xbox 360 Live vision camera that I'm using as a general webcam for my Windows 8 PC. The drivers were automatically downloaded and installed perfectly, and it all works fine.
However, I want to place the camera upside down on my desk because then I can attach it to a shelf above the monitor, and that provides the best viewing angles for me. Doing this obviously results in all video being upside down. Is there a way for me to force the video stream to be flipped automatically at a driver level (or similar), so that it will work on all applications?
Some applications do have an option to flip video, but not all, and that is where my problem lies. Flipping the video seems like a trivial software feature, but I can't seem to find any settings or options related to the camera on Windows 8 that allow me to achieve what I want to do.
