We have just bought a Sony Vaio SVT13126CGS 13.3" Touchscreen Ultrabook with Windows 8, and the touchscreen won't swipe.

Since loading Avast Antivirus, the swipe function of the touchscreen doesn't work. Does anyone know how to make it operational again?

Will pressing an icon do as it should? Is it just the swipe function, or all touch-based actions? – Kruug Jan 18 '13 at 21:00
What does it report when you open up System Properties? Under the System section, next to "Touch:", it should say something about there being Windows Touch support. – Ben Richards Jan 18 '13 at 21:19
