I would like to create a block that contains an array of rectangles where the height and width of the rectangles that comprise the array can be modified by changing a user parameter.
Right now, I can make a rectangle with height/width associated with user parameters via linear constraints. Then, I can make an array with the number of rows/columns and spacings are associated with user parameters.
The problem is that, after incorporating the source rectangle in an array, the user parameters for height/width can no longer be modified. If I try, I get a dialog that says:
Invalid parameter expression.
The syntax is incorrect or a variable is not defined. Reenter the expression or value.
My feeling is that the value is locked and, in order to edit the source's height/width, I would have to use the ARRAYEDIT command. Is there some way to work around this or create a macro to correctly call the ARRAYEDIT command such that changing the height/width parameters would correctly modify the source object (and, thus, all the objects in the array)?
Thanks a lot in advance!
