I user crashplan+ backup and it works great, if a little slow, but can anyone at crashplan access the data that I upload?

The question is closed, but I think its a good question. The answer is "unknown." There is no way to truly know if they can or not. All the cloud storage vendors supposedly encrypt and secure your data, but you never know if there is a workaround. Dropbox had an issue a while back where anyone was able to access anyone elses data. I believe they are generally secure, but nothing is 100%. – Keltari Jan 26 at 17:33
I don't know why this has been closed? Perhaps I should have mentioned the levels of encryption which are availiable. For example, you can choose '448-bit encryption + password' - does this not mean that no one can access your data exception the one with that password? – neutreno Jan 26 at 18:20
Questions about web services are off topcic, please read our FAQ. This is not a question about using Crashplan with your computer (e.g. problems with their client), but about how they work internally, as a service. – slhck Jan 27 at 11:54
