After downloading an Office Professional Trial 2010 recently I had major problems. After much difficulty I managed to remove it. However, I lost my Word, Excel. powerpoint, etc. I need to download microsoft Word asap, I cannot get into my documents. I'm running a 64bit operating system and would like to know whether it is better to download 32bit software as opposed to the 64bit?

Having removed ms word/excel/powerpoint in error while uninstalling Office Professional Trial 2010, Is there anyway that these programs can be restored?

While I empathize with your problem, this asks for opinions and is the type of question that will be closed on this site. See the FAQ. It seems to me that a part of this question is, "How do I get my MS programs back?". That probably would be okay on this site, so if you wish you can edit your question. Good luck. – Xavierjazz Jan 28 at 1:01

Generally speaking, if you're running 64-bit Windows, it makes sense to run 64-bit applications. They may run a tiny bit faster, they may possibly be able to handle larger files (owing to their 64-bit rather than 32-bit addressing) and will avoid having to run under the file system redirector.
