My girlfriend's Acer Aspire One battery is no longer working, and I am trying to find a replacement for her online. Her exact model is Acer Aspire One 533-23Dww.

However, I have not been able to find a battery for her exact model. All the available ones which I have found on numerous websites claim that the battery would work with the 533 series, however the actual model number is not mentioned in a list of supported models.

This listing on ebay is a perfect example - her laptop model is not listed, and I am wondering whether the battery would work on her laptop given that it's part of the 533 series, however not actually mentioned in the listing (and all other listings on ebay and every site which I have tried - that delivers to my country).

Does anyone have experience with Acer batteries and similar issues? I cannot contact Acer support because they do not help unless the product is under warranty. Also, should i be wary of buying from China?

If it works for the 533 series then it should do fine – Simon Sheehan Jan 31 '13 at 23:55
This is a shopping/poll question and is not welcome on Super User. Maybe you could find some hardware forum to ask this on. – BenjiWiebe Feb 1 '13 at 1:25
@SimonSheehan - Even though the exact model is not listed? Thanks – user194438 Feb 1 '13 at 10:05
